Dr. David Halsey is an orthopedic surgeon and the director of the Joint Replacement Program at Fletcher Allen’s Orthopedics Specialty Center. He is also an associate professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, VT.
Specializing in patient-centric care and surgical risk reduction strategies, Dr. Halsey’s focus is on computer-assisted surgery, hip and knee resurfacing, minimal incision arthroplasty and reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee. Dr. Halsey uses the new FDA-cleared Verilast knee technology that has been laboratory tested for 30 simulated years of wear performance.
Dr. Halsey’s research interests include arthroplasty and arthritis care, and he has been published in the Journal of Arthroplasty and The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.
