Dr. Slauterbeck is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Sports Medicine fellowship training and a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. His practice expertise is in operative management of knee, shoulder and traumatic ski injuries.

From July 2004 to November 2004, Dr. Slauterbeck researched ACL injury and mechanism at the invitation of Lars Engebretsen, MD, PhD at the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center in Norway. He had the opportunity to attend the Norwegian Olympic Training Center.
